When an accident occurs, always call the Police Department to make a report of the incident at the scene when possible. Remain calm and call for medical attention if needed. **The Texas Department of insurance also recommends moving your car, if possible, to avoid blocking traffic and to protect it from further loss or damage.

To file a claim, simply call the claims office number we provided when you purchased your insurance policy. It may also be located on the ID card holder we give you or on your insurance card. If you cannot locate it, please call us and we'll be glad to direct you.

  When you call to report a claim, please have all of the facts about the claim handy such as; the date, time, and place of the accident and all the contact and vehicle info of the persons involved. Also get the name of the police department who responded to the scene and the police report number. Write down any questions that you have for the claims office before you call to make sure they will be able to respond to any concerns you may have.
